What can a donation do?
Gwinnett Habitat depends on voluntary contributions. Here’s what we use them for:
- $10,000 pours a concrete foundation, bedrock of a new home and a family’s new beginning.
- $5,000 installs an HVAC unit, to keep little toes warm in winter.
- $2,500 hangs sheetrock, for walls to display family photos and children’s artwork.
- $1,500 paves a driveway for a first bicycle ride.
- $1,000 builds cabinets where little hands will reach for after school snacks.
- $500 plants green grass in the yard to cushion somersaults and cartwheels.
- $200 buys a water heater for a child’s warm bubble bath.
- $100 installs a kitchen sink for dishwashing chores after family meals.
- $50 hangs an interior door to be shut when it’s time for homework.
Gwinnett Habitat is a 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions are tax deductible.
